Mr. Sajal Dutta, a distinguished entrepreneur and a visionary in healthcare, is dedicated to transforming Eastern India's medical landscape. A Mechanical Engineer from Jadavpur University (1978), with an MBA degree from IIM Calcutta(1980), his journey began with XL Enterprises Limited, a manufacturer and supplier of leather products to globally renowned high-street brands, which earned National Award for Export Excellence in 1993 and 1994.

His healthcare journey began in the late 1990s as Managing Director of one of Kolkata's first private hospitals, before he established Desun Hospital in 2006. Under his leadership, Desun has emerged as one of the region's premier multi-specialty healthcare providers, ensuring world-class treatment and championing social welfare through initiatives like the Desun Health City Foundation. He also runs Devyam, a pharma company that makes quality assured drugs and nutraceuticals.
